These Terms of Use govern your use of the Baby Lock Screen website and, to the extent applicable alongside the relevant app-store license, the Baby Lock Screen mobile app, also called Baby Safe Screen. The owner and operator is Kickstart Crew LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the website or app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.

Who may use the service

The app is intended to be installed, configured, and operated by adults responsible for its use. A child’s interaction with a device does not replace the need for an adult to supervise it. You are responsible for following applicable laws and your device and app-store terms.

License and acceptable use

Subject to these terms and the applicable store license, you may use the app and website for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not unlawfully copy, redistribute, sell, exploit, interfere with, or attempt to compromise them. Any restriction is subject to rights that applicable law does not allow us to limit, including permitted interoperability or accessibility uses.

We or our licensors retain rights in the app, website, branding, and original content. Third-party names and publications belong to their respective owners. Linking to a source does not imply an affiliation or endorsement.

What the app does and does not do

The app provides still screen appearances, optional dimming, saved preferences, and a fade to black. It ignores ordinary taps within its screen mode. It does not independently lock an entire device, cover other apps with a touch-blocking overlay, or provide a child-proof authentication system.

Apple Guided Access or Android screen pinning is required to restrict leaving the app. Availability and behavior depend on your device, operating system, and configuration. You are responsible for setting up and testing the system controls and knowing how to exit. A black display or completed fade does not mean the device is off, locked, or safe to leave unattended.

Supervision and research content

Use the app only with appropriate adult supervision. It is not a caregiver, security system, medical device, sleep treatment, or developmental intervention. We do not promise that it will calm a child, prevent unwanted device actions in every situation, or reduce screen interest.

Our articles provide general educational information and may change as guidance evolves. They are not individual medical advice. Consult a qualified professional for concerns about a child’s health, development, or sleep.

App stores, purchases, and refunds

Availability, compatibility, and any price are shown in the relevant store. Apple or Google processes store transactions, and its applicable purchase, licensing, and refund terms apply. The current app does not offer subscriptions or in-app purchases.

For an App Store download, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless a different license is expressly supplied with the listing. These website terms do not displace mandatory store terms or your non-waivable consumer rights. For Google Play, the applicable Google Play terms also apply.

Privacy and external links

Read our Privacy Policy for information handling. External websites and store listings are operated by third parties. Their content, availability, terms, and privacy practices are outside our control.

Availability, warranties, and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, the app and website are provided as available, without a promise that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device. We may improve, change, or discontinue features. Keep your device software updated and verify behavior after changes.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app or website, or for failures caused by your device, configuration, third-party services, or use inconsistent with these terms. Nothing here excludes liability or warranties that applicable law does not allow to be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.

Changes to these terms

We will publish revised terms on this page and update the date. Material changes will receive additional notice where required by law. If you do not agree to revised terms, stop using the affected service. Changes do not remove rights that already apply to a purchase under mandatory law.
