Baby Lock Screen is made by Kickstart Crew LLC. We build a simple screen utility operated by parents, with controls that are easy to understand.

What we make

The app offers five still appearances, saved preferences, optional dimming, and a fade to black. It works with iPhone Guided Access and Android screen pinning. Some in-app screens and the Android launcher use the name Baby Safe Screen; this website and its legal policies cover the same app.

Editorial policy

The Baby Lock Screen editorial team is the app’s developer, Kickstart Crew LLC. Our guides are commercial publisher content: we benefit when people choose the app. We do not present them as independent medical reviews or claim clinical credentials.

Setup guides draw on our implementation and official Apple or Google instructions. Research guides draw on the sources linked in the app and the original publications. We identify the population and study design, distinguish associations from causal findings, and keep limitations beside the results.

We prefer primary sources and current organizational guidance. Older studies remain useful when clearly dated. We show publication and revision dates and update them when an article materially changes. A citation does not imply that its authors or organization endorse Baby Lock Screen.

What the research does not prove

The app has not been clinically tested to improve development, sleep, attention, emotional regulation, or children’s willingness to put a phone down. Still screens and quiet behavior are product properties, not a certification of safety or a recommended screen-time allowance.
